Five Checks Before You Buy A Used Car
A used car can be a good buy. But you must check the car first. Do these five checks before you pay.
1. Check The Body
Look for rust and for new paint. New paint can hide old damage.
2. Check The Engine
Start the engine when it is cold. Listen for strange sounds. Look for oil leaks under the car.
3. Check The Tyres
Look at the tread. Uneven tread can show a problem with the wheels.
4. Test Drive The Car
Drive the car on a straight road. The car must not pull to one side. The brakes must feel firm.
5. Check The Papers
Read the logbook. Confirm the record with NTSA.
We do a 120-point check on every car. Visit our yard on Ngong Road, Nairobi.
